Speed Bump Installation
Asphalt and concrete speed bumps, speed humps, and speed tables are effective means of controlling the rate of traffic in parking lots and on private and public roadways. Once they are installed, sealed and painted, they will last for many years, and resist wear and tear. In addition to these products, we also install plastic and rubber-based speed bumps. We are also skilled at repairing existing traffic slowing installations and can advise as to whether repair or replacement is best for your needs.
It should be noted that in public areas, the specifications for speed bump heights and spacing are set by local fire departments to ensure that fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles can readily navigate through or around them.
Asphalt Stamping & Imprinting
Stamped asphalt has a decorative surface that mimics the appearance of brick, stone, slate, or other materials, but a mere fraction of the cost. Better yet, stamping can be performed on existing pavement surfaces, making it a great way of refreshing tired-looking parking lots, drives and walkways.
Pavement Striping & Signage
Striping and signage is critical to any paving project, as they allow drivers and pedestrians to safely navigate parking lots and roadway, while also ensuring ADA compliance. In addition, re-striping existing pavement is a low-cost means of giving an old parking lot or roadway a fresh, attractive new look.
Bollards are a durable and cost-effective means of anchoring signage, marking walkways, blocking vehicles from restricted areas, and more. Action Asphalt is experienced in the installation of bollards in both new and existing asphalt in a time- and cost-effective manner. Once installed, bollards will withstand both weathering and physical impacts, while presenting a minimal hazard to pedestrians.
